Ballast Technology

Metal halide lighting users demand long lamp life, high lumen output, quick starting, and most importantly energy efficiency. To satisfy these needs, Venture has developed a line of ballasts required for proper starting and operation of these high performance lamps, including ballasts for standard metal halide lamps and new high-efficiency, reduced crest factor ballasts for our Uni-Form pulse start system. Venture also provides ballasts required for operating High Pressure Sodium lamps. Specific lamps and ballasts are often matched and may not be compatible with other lamps/ballasts, even if they are of the same wattage. Always refer to Venture’s specification sheets to determine which ballast is required for a specific lamp.
