25 Years of Breaking
Lighting, the fastest growing metal halide lighting company in the
world, is the only one concentrated on this technology. Since 1983,
we've created a constant stream of new systems for our customers.
Our range of optimized lamps and ballasts, including the revolutionary
Uni-Form® pulse start system, has grown to encompass lamp wattages
50 to 2,000. This unique focus offers you peak performance lighting
Solon, Ohio headquarters includes a state-of-the-art development
and new products manufacturing center to support our leadership
in originating new systems. The company is part of Advanced Lighting
Technologies Inc. (ADLT) Our sister companies feature complementary
capabilities: APL Engineered Materials (APL) is a strategic supplier
of halides, amalgams and other components to the lighting industry.
Deposition Sciences, Inc. (DSI) is a leader in sophisticated thin
film coatings and deposition systems to the lighting industry.
Venture maintains a worldwide network of low cost,
lean manufacturing facilities. Quality is sustained through control
systems constructed to meet ISO 9001 standards. Our facility in
India, the largest metal halide plant in the Pacific Rim, produces
lamps and ballasts. Our joint venture in China gives us a presence
in one of the largest potential markets in the world.

The Metal Halide Innovator
a systems approach to metal halide development has generated a number
of breakthrough innovations available only in Venture lamps and
ballasts. Uni-Form® pulse start systems start with our exclusive
tipless formed body arc tube, sculpted to follow the actual shape
of the light-producing arc. Nothing else can match the thermal profile
of this design. Patented weldless lamp mount construction is stronger
than standard welds.
line of both magnetic and electronic Opti-Wave ballasts improve
power control, reduce ballast noise and have lower current crest
factors. The benefits of our advanced technology include more light
for less energy, improved color uniformity, significantly longer
lamp life, quieter operation and continuous dimming capabilities.

Lighting introduced most of the metal halide lamp types currently
in use around the world, and our innovations continue to lead the
industry. We were the first to introduce:
A complete line of low wattage lamps
Reduced jacket 175, 400, 1000 watt lamps
Designer Color® lamps for colored light without colored
White-Lux® retrofit lamps to operate on HPS ballasts
Open-rated pulse start lamps featuring UV-reducing UV Shield®
Horizontal-only Uni-Form® pulse start lamps
e-Lamp products, designed especially for dimming on
high frequency electronic ballasts
